Donald Patterson

Donald Patterson, Jr., of Hockessin, Delaware died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, July 26, 2015. 

Donald was 86 years old and is survived by Grace, his wife of 65 years, four children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Donald graduated from Lehigh University in 1952 and was employed by DuPont Company for 27 years until his retirement in 1985.  Upon retirement he was actively involved in Master Gardeners of the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension.  Donald and Grace loved to travel and he was especially interested in architecture and landscape design.  

Service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cathedral of Saint Peter, 500 N. West St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
