I had heard of Patti's passing by Joyce but at the time there were no arrangements. I would have been there but only learned today that she was buried Friday. We had ten good years in Bear as neighbors. She had a beautiful smile and in the evenings we would float with noodles in her pool for about an hour at night and I learned all about her family and she learned about mine. Please give my love to the family: Celeste and Vicki and Shaun were the ones we got to know because of how wonderful you were to both parents. Patrick we got to know also. How proud they were of all of you. The photo here is beautiful and I have a feeling that was when she was at the Island seeing her baby granddaughter. She was always very determined and how she had such faith and how she loved her home. What a cook. We had many dinners together and everyday I look at my treasured pottery dishes from Patti and Cleto. I'm glad she is at peace. I hope all of you can now find peace in knowing how proud they were of all of you and feel good about all you did for them. We still tell Patti and Cleto stories when we get out the pottery. I wish I had been there. We loved both your parents. Love, Norene

I was so glad to be present at the funeral for your mother. Fr. Dillingham is a friend of mine also and he obviously knew you all and her well. Vicky and Shaun, I am the one who spoke to you of the Adrian Dominicans. I've lived in DE for 35 years but still cherish my bonds to this wonderful community I was part of from 62-83. I would love to hear more of your connections to Adrian if you wish to email me. May your mom rest in peace as you walk onward to hold the memories of your dear parents.
