Obituary

Robert J. Berglund, Sr., age 91, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on May 24, 2022 surrounded by family. 

Bob, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Atlantic City, NJ and attended Holy Spirit High School before entering the U.S. Air Force.  After 6 years in the Air Force, Bob went on to have a successful career with Bell Atlantic/Verizon for 30+ years before retiring. 

Along with his parents, Frank X. and Catherine (McKenna) Berglund, Bob was predeceased by his wife, Alberta Berglund, and his brother, James T. Berglund. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 at noon at St. Catherine of Siena, 2503 Centerville Rd., Wilmington, DE. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
