Patricia G. Bazzoli

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Gibson Bazzoli announces her passing after a brief illness, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 83 years.

Patricia will be forever remembered by her children, Thomas (Nancy), Paul (Marie) and Jana (Melody).  “Mom-Mom” will also be lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren, Alicia (Ben) Horvath, Ashley, Patrick, Luke (Jacky), Sarah, Josh and Liz and by great-granddaughter Emilia.   Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Lucian Thomas (Tom) Bazzoli of Wilmington Delaware. 

Patricia was born in Camden, New Jersey and grew up in the small community of Gibbstown.  After graduation from Paulsboro High School and Goldey-Beacom College, she worked as a legal secretary until marrying Tom, her husband for 58 years.  She was a loving caregiver for many generations-- parents, children, and grandchildren-- and always had a special place in her heart for her “furry friends”.  An avid lover of nature, she could often be found watching birds, deer and all creatures great and small.

A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 3 p.m., at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road Wilmington, Delaware where friends may visit after 2.

A private family memorial will follow the celebration. Those who so desire may make donations in memory of Patricia to the Christ Hospital Foundation, Cancer Care, Cincinnati Ohio.
