Mary Elizabeth Higgins
Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Higgins, 100, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Slack) Higgins.
Mary was a graduate of Fordham University and was employed as the Director of Human Resources with Columbia Gas System, Inc. in New York. She relocated to Wilmington when Columbia Gas established new headquarters here and retired after several years of dedicated service.
Special thanks are extended to the staff of Kentmere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care given to Mary.
Mary will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, New Jersey on Monday, September 26.
