Leon "Lee" Antoine

Leon (Lee) Antoine, age 73, of Newark, DE passed away suddenly of heart failure on Monday, May 14, 2018.

Son of the late Leon A. Antoine and Magdalen C. (Boyle) Antoine, he was a 1962 graduate of Claymont High School. Lee then served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. Following his discharge he began a 30 plus year working career with Delmarva Power.

In retirement, he pursued his love of golf and worked many years at Delcastle Golf Course where he treasured friendships with his co-workers and customers. Lee was a dedicated member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara A. Duren and husband, Ron as well as his brother in law, Frank Fountain.

He is survived by his sister, Dolores A. Fountain who he lovingly cared for over the last three years. He is also survived by his nephew, Sean P. McHenry, his niece, Ashley C. Duren and great nephew, Riley McHenry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 10 am in Holy Rosary Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.  Burial will be private.
