Karl E. Alexander

Karl E. Alexander, age 67, of Newark, DE passed away at home on Saturday, December 29, 2018.

Karl worked for Shellhorn & Hill as a diesel mechanic. He loved spending time with his grandkids and spoiling them.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley; his son, Christopher J. Alexander (Leigh) and his daughter, Holly A. Smith (Wayne), his sister, Karen Alexander and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 3 from 11:30am -1 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek where a funeral service will follow at 1. Burial will be in St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, St. James Church Rd.
