Helen L. Brinton, age 87, of Newark, DE passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Betty Bowers (Bob) of Newark, DE; her son, William Brinton of Wilmington, DE; her daughter in law, Regina Brinton of New Castle, DE, her 5 grandchildren, Robert Bowers, Jr. (Amy), of Fayetteville, NC, Bryan Bowers (Kate) of Smyrna, DE, Matthew Brinton of Wilmington, DE, Jennifer Reid (Ron) of New Castle, DE and Jason Brinton (Sara) of Huntsville, AL; 7 great grandchildren; her brother, Carl Page and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. Brinton; her parents, Robert E. and Louise Page; her sons, Jay Brinton and Joe Brinton, Jr., and her brothers, Leroy and Robert Page.

The family would like to thank the Sisters and staff at Little Sisters of the Poor for their compassion and love shown to our mother. It was greatly appreciated.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 11 am at Little Sisters of the Poor 185 Salem Church Rd., Newark, DE 19713 where friends may visit with the family from 10-11 am. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Little Sisters of the Poor at the above address.
