Glenn and Ronda Sweany

Glenn Sweany, 81, passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2020.  Ronda Sweany, 75, passed away peacefully at her long term care facility on June 7, 2021.  They married in Ponca City, Oklahoma on September 6, 1974.

Glenn had a long term career working for Conoco in Ponca City, Oklahoma and then the DuPont Company as a technology fellow in Wilmington, Delaware until he retired in 1998.  Ronda was a homemaker, a wonderful pianist, bowler and a member of the Blue Rocks Chorus in Wilmington, Delaware. 

Glenn and Ronda are survived by their children, Randy Sweany and his wife, Kelly, and Joanna Sweany; their five grandchildren, Michael Rosen, Shannon Rosen, Jakob Sweany, Benjamin Rosen and Luke Sweany.  Also surviving are Ronda’s brother, Marvin Clark; their combined nieces and nephew, Kelsey Clark, Amory Butler and Brady Tracy; many great nieces and a great nephew.

Funeral services for Glenn and Ronda will be held at First Christian Church, 210 N. 5th Street, Ponca City, Oklahoma on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00AM.
