Glen Eric Miller, Age 61, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Glen was the son of the late William and Doris Atallian Miller, and brother to Kenneth and his late brother William.
Glen graduated from St. Elizabeth’s which he attended for 12 years and cherished many happy memories of adventures with his Canby Park friends. Glen was a proud US Navy veteran and was currently employed at the New Castle DMV where he happily surprised many Delaware residents by making it a pleasant experience with his caring and helpful manner.
Glen was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Rossi Miller, in 2008. He is survived by their children, Jamie Miller, Jerome Gravatt (Sandi) and D.J. Gravatt (Jamie) and grandchildren, Jerome Miller Phelps, Kaitlyn, Blake, and Alexis Gravatt.
He is also survived by his loving fiancée, Kathy Campbell, and her children, Kristin Campbell (Ben) and Jackie Waidmann (Luke) and grandchildren, Jackson Walter, Connor and Millie Waidmann.
In addition, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Glen’s wish was that his family and friends not be sad at his untimely passing but to cherish and remember the wonderful memories of happy times he shared during his life. He recalled many joyful days such as Wildwood vacations, fireworks at Mount Trashmore, pool parties, baseball games, concerts, Eagles Super Bowl win and holiday celebrations with his loved ones.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1:00PM at Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, where friends are welcome to join the family in honoring Glen’s life. In compliance with local and CDC Coronavirus guidelines, facemasks and social distancing are required at all times.
