Edward J. Duffy

Edward J. Duffy, 73 of Newark, Delaware passed away with family by his side on Thursday, February 7, 2019.

Duff was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 22, 1946, son of the late Edward B. and Harriet (Billbrough) Duffy.  A veteran serving during the Vietnam War Era, he served our country as a Radioman stationed on the U.S.S. Princeton in the United States Navy.   Duff held a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, having studied at both Delaware County Community College and Temple University.  

Duff is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda (Russell) Duffy; his sons, Adam Duffy and wife, Veronica, Matthew Duffy and wife, Krista; his granddaughter, Leah Duffy; his sisters, Maryann McCall and Harriet Coyle.

Friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, February 13 from 10:00-11:00AM, immediately followed by a Remembrance Service.
