Donna L. Frost

Donna L. Frost, nèe Knecht, 84 of Newark, DE passed away peacefully at her residence on September 7th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 12, 1937 in South Williamsport, PA to the late Luther and Lois Knecht.  She graduated from South Williamsport High School and later relocated to Newark, Delaware where she resided until her passing.  

Donna was employed by the Red Clay School District as a Food Service Manager for over 30 years until her retirement in 2012.   Donna’s family was at the center of her life; she adored her two children and six grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events and high school functions.  An avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, Donna also loved the beach, cooking, gardening, and hosting family holiday gatherings.  Donna could be found on her front patio many evenings holding “court” and cherishing time spent with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her Brother Charles Knecht.  She is survived by two children; James (Jamie) Frost (Melissa) of Newark and Susan Stull (Rodman) of Newark; Grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Braeden, Graceyn, Elinor and Lea as well as her sister-in-law Jan Knecht of Georgia.
