Dolores M. Seramone (Vassalotti)

Age 89, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2018.

Dolores was born on January 19, 1929 in Claymont, DE to the late Raffaele and Mary (Bozzo) Vassalotti. She lived in Wilmington most of her life. She was the wife of Michael P. Seramone whom she shared 34 years together. They were inseparable and completely devoted to each other. She was employed as an executive secretary for a wholesale distributing company for 30 years. She enjoyed going to and helping outreach programs and was a member of post cana.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 1988, her two brothers, Joseph and Anthony, her five sisters, Carmela Nacchia, Helen Filliaggi, Rose Bramble Virginia Carhart and Marie Vassalotti; her nephews, Ralph Seeley and Wayne Vassalotti and her niece, Linda Davis.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Debra Bolton (Nate), William Carhart, Jo Ann Janice (Mike), Rosemarie Cannon (Wally), Bill Vassalotti (Fran), Joey Nacchia (Donna), Jimmy Nacchia (Paulette) and Jimmy Filliaggi (Peg), many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and her friend, Richard Slutz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 11 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and Dupont Sts., Wilmington, where friends may visit from 10-11am. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
