Cynthia Catherine Logan

Cynthia Catherine Logan, age 58, of Wilmington, DE, died peacefully at home on October 12, 2018. 

She is survived by her two sons, Tyler Logan Hudson of Knoxville, TN and Spencer Bruce Hudson of Logan, UT; a granddaughter, Noah Monroe Hudson; and brothers, William Gary Logan and David Logan.

She was born in 1960 in Merced, CA.  She graduated from the Wilmington General Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse.  She retired from the Christiana Care Health System in 2017 where she had served for 38 years in the neonatal intensive care unit at the Christiana Hospital.

Cindy was devoted to her work in the NICU.  She loved “her preemies” and their families.  In her long career she and colleagues treated and nurtured over a thousand very sick babies. It made her day recently when she encountered a young adult whom she recognized as a former patient.  Her devotion, dedication and total joy for life will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
