Carolyn E. Harris, age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
Born on November 27, 1941, to the Charles E. and Gladys (Badder) Doeber, Carol was a lifelong Delawarean.
Carolyn was the living embodiment of a devoted daughter, wife, niece, mother, and grandmother. Compassionate, attententive, and empathetic, Carol would do anything for the people she loved. She was also a force to be reckoned with; above all, she will be remembered for her tenacity, orneriness, and feisty spirit. True to her mischievous nature, Carol departed this world on Halloween. This only seems appropriate and fitting with her promises of coming back to haunt her family members after her passing.
Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, John Harris; her daughter, Tamberly “Tammy” J. Wright and her husband, Tom; her sons, Charles Stumpf and Brian A. Harris; her grandchildren, Heather Doudna and her husband, Patrick, and Tiffany Wright and her fiancé, Rob Stigler; and her great-grandchildren, Hunter and Brynn Doudna. She will be deeply missed by her four cats, Misty, Megan, Beth and Squirrel, whom she loved dearly. Carol was predeceased by her parents and her son, William Charles “Chuck” Hager, all of whom she has been joyfully reunited with in Heaven.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
