Brandi A. Huffman

On May 17, 2023, Heaven’s gates opened for Brandi Huffman at age 43. 

After receiving her GED, Brandi worked at various places, most recently Bowlero where she spent the last 9 years. Brandi touched many hearts not only at Bowlero but also through her years of serving at Wilmington Church of God as a youth leader. Through her ministry she impacted lives and lived out what it means to have a relationship with God. No matter if it was through teaching, having tough conversations or kicking butt in countless games. She enjoyed taking trips and traveling to see her favorite bands including BTS and OTOWN.  

As she walked through the gates, she was met by her parents,  Jimmy and Connie Huffman; her grandparents, Virgil and Winogene Rogers; as well as many aunts and uncles.  

She left behind her sister, Ivy Proffitt (Eddie); her beloved niece, Justice Grace Proffitt; her aunts, Brenda McElroy and Felicia Rogers Bireley (Chris), their two children, Serena and Joseph; her cousin Bre’Anne; and friends that were family, Amy Balback, her two children, Paris (goddaughter) and Ariana, Patrick (brother from another mother), Vicky (partner in crime), Len (work husband), Alyssa, Danielle, Zoey and Debbie.  

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 9:00am.
