Barry Lee Parsons

Barry Lee Parsons, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

Barry was born in 1946 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to William and Josephine Parsons.

Barry served in the United States Navy for 5 years.  Following his honorable discharge, Barry went on to pursue a lengthy career as a lab technician for Dupont, having retired after 39 years of service.  He was married to Betty Jane Sullivan in 1971 and they resided in New Castle, Delaware.

Along with both of his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, William E. Parsons Jr.  

Barry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty J. Parsons; his beloved twin sister, Beverly (Jim); his beloved cousin, Mary Lou Wollaston (Joe); good friends and neighbors.

A private service with military honors will be held at Longwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Barry’s name to Faith Baptist Church, 4210 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
