Arcadio ("Kayo")Shakur-DeJesus of Lancaster, PA passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at the age of 24. He was born February 27, 1998 in Lancaster,PA to Francis DeJesus and Yusef Shakur Sr.
He was preceeded in death by his grandmother Miriam J Suarez, grandfathers Abuwi Shakur, Bilal El and cousin Amaige Shakur-Merrit.
While growing up he attended Finefrock & stumpf golden gloves center. He loved to box and make youtube videos showing off his cooking talents. He was a graduate of Hempfield High School. He received a diploma in Culinary Arts from Lancaster County Career and Technology Mount. Joy, PA. He conitinued his education at Walnut Hill in Philadelphia, PA with dreams of pursuing his long-term goal as a chef to open up his own food truck/restaurant to help the homeless. He loved boxing, cooking he always carried his knives set he got from his culinary art school. He took that bag everywhere with him. He loved to help people in need even when he didn't have it for himself. He loved making people laugh.
Arcadio is survived by his Mother Francis DeJesus of Lancaster, PA; his father Yusef and Nicole Shakur of Townsend, DE.
Grandfather Edwin De Jesus-Cartagena and Grandmother Najah Shakur-El and Wendy Hallager. His brothers Ricardo J Rodriguez,Yusef Shakur Jr. and Nicholas Rodriguez.
Sisters Khadijah Cannon, Shinely DeJesus, Morgan Shakur Joceylin Rodriguez and Ezlyn Ward,
Aunts Sandra Irizarry, Jamilah Abdullah, Storm Abdullah and Nisaa Shakur
