Angela J. (Gregori) Pacelli

Angela J. (Gregori) Pacelli, 80, peacefully passed away surrounded by loving family on Thursday, August 11, 2022.  Born in Wilmington, Delaware on August 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Domenick and Concetta (Mancini) Gregori.

Angela was a graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1959, and worked as an office administrator for several area law firms throughout her career.  She was a faithful, longtime member of Holy Spirit Parish and was devoted to her Catholic faith.  She felt blessed to have been a breast cancer survivor.  Angela will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who wanted to share happiness with her family and friends.  

In addition to her parents, Angela was sadly predeceased by her son, Christopher Abrams, who passed away on May 7, 2009.  She was also predeceased by her sister, Antoniette Flocco and her brother, Domenick Gregori Jr.

Angela will be dearly missed by her husband of 24 years, Larry Pacelli; her daughters, Vickie Aunet and husband, Jonathan, Valerie Aunet and husband, Jerry; her grandchildren, Jerry Aunet III (Caitlin), Mandie Padgett (Luke), Matthew Aunet (Danielle), Brittany Aunet, and Jordan Aunet.  Angela loved being “Gigi” to her four great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Holly, Deb and the 2nd Floor Staff at ProMedica Pike Creek for the loving and compassionate care given to Angela.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Holy Spirit Church, 12 Winder Road, New Castle, DE 19720 on Monday, August 22 from 9:30 – 10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, immediately followed by interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angela may be made to Holy Spirit Parish.
