Polly Shew Pein Chang

Polly Shew Pein Chang, 66, of Newark, Delaware passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Polly was the daughter of Chih-Hsiung Wang and Jo-Ping Chen. She was a graduate of the Providence College of Arts and Science in Taichung, Taiwan.

Family was of utmost importance to Polly. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and traveling with her husband. She especially loved to cook and socialize with her friends from the Chinese-American Community Center and Taiwanese American Association. She will be remembered for her boisterous personality and delicious food.

Polly is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Roger Hsin-Chun Chang; her daughter Eva Chang Meyer (Matt); her son Eric (Michelle); her grandchildren, Addison, Grant and Eliza; and extended family in Taiwan and New Zealand. 

Family and friends may visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek, Wilmington, Delaware 19808 on Thursday, August 8 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM.  Interment will be held privately.
