Patricia R. (Domanico) Carr

Patricia R. (Domanico) Carr, 72, of Wilmington, Delaware peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Patricia was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 5, 1946, daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Altomare) Domanico.  She attended Our Lady of Consolation Grade School and St. Hubert’s High School, and later earned a cosmetology license.  She was employed as a bookkeeper with Seton Industries for 18 years.  Family was always the center of Patricia’s life.  She was an enthusiastic and dedicated supporter of her children’s endeavors.  You would always find Pat front and center volunteering at their schools and sporting events.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Terri Carr, Kelly Carr Rivera (Joe), Thomas Carr, Edward Carr (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Cynthia Ellison (Cody), Eric Carr, Gia Rivera; her brother and sister in law, Joseph and Maureen Domanico.

Patricia was predeceased by her loving grandson, Jeremy Carr

The family would like to thank the many devoted relatives and friends who supported Pat throughout her 30-year battle with MS.  The visits, phone calls, cards always made her feel loved and included.  Special thanks to the staff of Regal Heights Healthcare Center, Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals  - especially Pats children’s childhood friends who grew into amazing nurses, always taking extra special care and checking in on her during and after her stays.   

Family and friends are invited to visit at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 7051 Tulip Street, Philadelphia, PA 19135 on Saturday, September 7 from 9:00-10:15AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, immediately followed by interment in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Patricia may be made to Compassionate Friends Brandywine Hundred, PO Box 114, Rockland, Delaware 19732-0114.
