Linda Ruth (Shockley) Butler

Linda Ruth Butler of Hockessin, Delaware passed away in the comfort of her home on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.  She was 75.

A graduate of William Penn High School, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and devoted homemaker.

Her husband of 52 years, Curtis J. Butler, Sr., passed away on December 23, 2015.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Butler and husband, William Gore; her son, Curtis J. Butler, Jr.; her grandchildren, Gary Lee Boys Jr., Curtis J. “CJ” Butler III, and Evan James Butler; her great grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashton, Gabriel, Jesse, and Elliott

Funeral services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
