Lillian M. (Crystal) Bove

Mrs. Lillian M. Bove, age 94, passed away on Friday morning, September 7, 2018.

Lillian was born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (Bigler) Crystal. They moved to Delaware where she met her husband, the late Anthony J. Bove.  They were married on January 31, 1953.

Lillian was a window dresser at Woolworths on the Market Street Mall before she met and married Anthony. After she was married she became a stay at home Mom where she raised 4 children.

Lillian is survived by her children, John and Marsha (Stamey) Bove, Linda (Bove) and Richard McKinstry, Christine (Bove) and Michael Grimes, Robert and Kimberly (Rembecki) Bove;  four grandchildren, Michelle (Grimes) Rosa and her husband Randie, Steven Grimes, Jimmy McKinstry, Jessica Bove; and two great grandchildren, Ronin Rosa and Maximillian Rosa. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Sandy Crystal and Mary Crystal.

Family and friends may visit at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Streets, Wilmington on Monday, September 17 from 9:30 to 10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Entombment will follow in the Pieta Garden Crypt in Cathedral Cemetery.
