Dear Sammy and Richie, I was so very sorry and sad to hear that your dear dad had passed away recently. Rick was known for his kind, gentle way, always with a smile on his face. He was a pleasure to know, as I'm sure all who knew him felt the same way. I am certain that he loved you both very much and I can't imaging the pain you are feeling at this time especially since he was in the prime of his life. Losing our parents is a very difficult thing. We expect that they will always be there for us - their love, their comfort and their wisdom. I have found comfort from the Bible's promise found in John 5:28,29 to be very comforting and gives me hope. Until that time comes, my love and deep sympathy are with you at this difficult time.
