Richard L. Shick

Richard L. Shick, Jr., age 48 of Wilmington, passed away at home on Thursday, October 12, 2017.

Rick was a talented artist and enjoyed the company of family and friends. He graduated from The Delaware College of Art and Design and from Wilmington University with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Design and Communication. His many talents included making specialized guitars with his own unique “rock” performance knowledge. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog and companion, Butch, the boxer who was always by his side.

He is survived by his mother, Marguerite “Peg” (DeNorscia) Shick; his sisters, Carol Ann Klosiewicz (Mark) and Kristina Lee Pagliaro (Drew); his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Michael, Jannie, Christian, Nina, and Ava; and his father, Richard L. Shick, Sr., of South Carolina.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately with his family.
