Richard S. DiSabatino

Richard S. DiSabatino, 61, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 surrounded by his loving family,

Richard was a 1971 graduate of Wilmington High School.  He was employed at Cement Masons Local 36, Amtrak, MBNA and Wilmington Trust. 

He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially summers in Brigantine and Atlantic City, NJ, with his wife and friends.  He was a loving and devoted son, husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Richard was predeceased by his father, Joseph F. DiSabatino, Sr. and his brother, Joseph F. DiSabatino, Jr.

The family sincerely thanks the staff of the Helen Graham Center, the Transplant Unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and our many relatives and friends for their loving kindness and care. 

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Roseann Sanna DiSabatino, his mother,  Mary E. DiSabatino, his brothers, Guy DiSabatino (Mary Ann) and David DiSabatino (Lisa), his sisters, Maryjane Fowler (Rick) and Debra Goodge (Ivor), his mother-in-law, Phylis Sanna, his brothers-in-law, Nick, Ron and Dave Sanna, his sisters-in-law, Evelyn High and Kathy Horkey, and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Sts., Wilmington, on Wednesday, May 20th, at 12:30 PM, where visitation will be held in the church beginning at 11 AM.  Burial in the Cathedral Cemetery will be private with the family.
