Natalie J. (Fisicaro) Bonvetti

Natalie J. Bonvetti passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, October 15, 2017, which marked the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima.

Natalie was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Louise Fisicaro. During World War II, Natalie was proud to be “Rosie the Riveter”. Beginning in 1950, she was the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Bonvetti Construction. After her husband passed away, Natalie enjoyed working at Hallmark with her best friend, Jerry. She was a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Church, where she volunteered with the Holy Rosary Sodality. Since 1965, Natalie was a member of the Junior Board of St. Francis Hospital.

Family was the center of her world. Natalie’s nurturing spirit and kind heart made her a mother to all. She had a way of connecting with anyone who was lucky enough to have met her. She treasured having her family and friends together, especially at her annual Italian Christmas Eve celebration.

Natalie was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, John Bonvetti. She is survived by her son, John Bonvetti, Sr. (Deb); her daughter, JoAnn Kucharski; her former daughter in law, Barbara Bonvetti; her brother, Anthony Rossillo (Patricia); her sisters, Marie Marcocci (the late Michael) and Josephine Anderton (Andy); her grandchildren, Heather Jones, Tara Hoopes (Joshua), John Bonvetti, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Lauren Sofia (Vincent); and her great grandchildren, Madison and Emily Jones, Olivia Hoopes, John Bonvetti, III, Gianna Sofia and 2 little ones on the way.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, October 19 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Corpus Christi Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere, DE 19805, where Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Church.
