We lived next door to Mrs. Chance for 10 years in Pepper Ridge. She took great pride in her house and the beautiful flowers in her front yard. She was very patient with our young sons, since we lived in such close proximity to her. I remember a thoughtful baby gift that she brought over after the birth of our second son. One of our other fond memory is her patience with my husband when he mistakenly directed a sprinkler hose in the direction of her open living room window. Our sympathy to her family. She will be in our prayers.

Please accept my condolences to the family of Mrs. Chance. I am a volunteer with Seasons Hospice and had visited her at the Brackenville Nursing Facility over the last 2 years. It was such a pleasure to visit her, and to be able to read and sit with her or just hold her hand.
