To Mrs Sundelin and the family of Kurt Sundelin,
I'm so deeply saddened and also shocked to hear that Kurt has passed. I have been his Barber for the last several years. He has always been one of my favorite customers. He would come in with such an awesome positive attitude. It was always a pleasure to cut his hair (he had great hair) He was very proud of his family and loved talking about all of you, especially his grandchildren. I will surely miss his time in the salon. Please accept my sincerest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Sharon,
We were so shocked and saddened to learn of Kurt's medical situation and passing when we visited the Bishops Storehouse in NJ last Thursday. Please accept our deepest heartfelt sympathies. Although we have only met and talked with you and Kurt just a few times when we visited the Bishops Storehouse once a month the past few months, you both were so welcoming and friendly that we really looked forward to our trips to NJ to have the opportunity to visit with you both, while at the same time checking if the potatoe flakes had finally arrived from backorder. We are so blessed to have known Kurt and you, as surely you both have been a blessing to so many others. Take care...

While my wife and kids are not as familiar with your family, my teenage years were filled with many memories with great people like Kurt and his family.

We share in your loss but rejoice in the knowledge that life eternal grants us the blessings of being reunited with Kurt in a time not to far distant.

Curt, we took it for granted to be able to see you anytime we would come to Delaware. Now you have gone. You left us a big hole in our heart. You always welcomed us even if our visit was unexpected. Thank you so much for your love and kind courtesy as well as great services to the Lord. We miss you a lot.

Sharon, what a shocking news we had to hear! Just cannot believe he is not here. Our sincere prayer is with you. Looking back our old days in Delaware, Curt and you were always with us for help. May the Lord fill your days with happiness until you see him again. We love you so much.

We are saddened by the passing of Brother Sundelin. He was such a caring man! Sharon, we appreciate all those family home evenings held in your home that our mother, Edna West, attended. Bro. Sundelin visited her in the hospital many times and we remember his bright smile coming down the hallway. May you and your family have peace at this time and rejoice in the knowledge that you will be together for eternity. Sincerely, Edna, June & Sharon

Dearest Sharon (mom):

Our hearts are heavy in learning of Kurt's passing; our hearts feel joy in knowing that he was prepared to make that move across the veil to be with his Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will always miss the "fantastic" personality and kind expressions of love exhibited towards us over the years and are planning to be with you tomorrow for the celebration of his life! love & hugs, Andrea and Edwin

Kurt was a faaaaantastic man. We loved him and were blessed by his ebullient spirit. We loved to see him wear his native dress. I will always remember his love for the youth and theirs for him. 25 kids would all want to ride with Bro Sundelin!

He will be missed. I think they must have a whole high council from here on the other side now!

Kurt is one of the good men of our times! We will always value his up-beat, positive personality and a smile that uplifts the soul. Kurt's strong moral compass makes him a trusted friend and a man "who was who he was, where ever he was." His devotion to the Lord, to his Church, and to his family provided a quality of life worthy of emulation. That same devotion and understanding of the Plan of Salvation makes the sadness we feel more peaceful as death is not a period, it is simply a comma. Til we meet again, our friend, and we will!
