Jimmy, I,m very sorry about your moms passing. I just spoke to her after mom passed away, she updated me on everything and we had a nice conversation. Aunt Jay had so much energy and kindness,. I would enjoy getting her birthday cards and phone calls, wish my family could have seen you guys more often. I don't think I knew anyone with tha much energy and humor, after talking to her I felt like I had to get out and go do something . I will miss her very much.

Some of my greatest memories are of when I would spend the entire summers with Aunt Jay, Uncle Jimmy, and Jim when I was growing up. (and all those great neighbors, like real neighbors, sharing, helping, such a great and wonderful place
was Maple Crest). My Aunt Jay was like a second Mom to me, and probably to many others. Aunt Jay would do it all for us those summers from breakfast in the morning, to tucking us in at night. She taught us many life lessons, cooking, washing, gardening, crafts, religion, education..too many to list. Funny, spunky, sassy, honest,
but most of all, just loving and caring. When I talked with her, it was like like talking
with her 40 yrs ago. She never lost that special touch that made her Aunt Jay.
Now happily reunited with my Mom, Uncle Jim, my unbelievably fantastic Uncle Louie and Aunt Mary. Aunt Jay had just told me not to feel sorry for any of them, as they all had their fun in the good old days in Brooklyn. Aunt Jay was just so special,
and will be missed by so many.

Sorry to hear about Auntie Jay's passing. She was like another grandmother to me growing up through the years. Loved going over her house and getting candy and gum as a child. Oh, and cant forget the kitchen wars with my poppop.....May she rest in peace.

I can only imagine the reunion Auntie Jay experienced with Big Jim and my grandparents, Anthony and June Tartaglio. I can hear them arguing now!! Let the "cook-offs" begin to see who cooked better!! All jokes aside, I will always remember Auntie Jay telling me how she enjoyed every bit of helping my Grandmom raise my sisters and I. She always said "You girls never asked for anything when we took you to stores!" I loved going to her house on Halloween and she always gave us gum. Enjoy paradise, Auntie Jay!!! Tell my Pop Pop to be nice to you up there! Until we see each other again.....

My thoughts and prayers are with you Jimmy and your family. I just heard last night and can not even begin to imagine the world without "Aunty Jay " in it. She was the best person who I certainly leaned on when my Father past away . Well now she is in Heaven with the gang from the neighborhood and I am sure they are enjoying her. She will be sadly missed. Will try to make it up for the viewing on Friday. I am still stunned and so glad that she did not suffer . Heaven is so lucky to have her now She might of been a tiny lady but she had one HUGE heart for all,

Jim we are so shocked and saddened to hear of your moms passing. "Auntie" Jay as I have called her since my childhood was certainly the firecracker personality in our family. Always so kind and always so giving and funny as anything! We always loved spending time which was never enough because of distance. Our visits and phone calls and letter writing over the years were always so special. She had a way with words and the banter between her and Uncle Jim was always like a comedy show! For a little tiny lady, she had a heart of gold, a huge personality and the gift of giving herself to help others. I thank God He took her peacefully. She and I recently spoke about it with the quick passing of my dear mother 2 months ago. Quick and no suffering. Auntie Jay, God granted your wish. You will be missed sweet funny lady.
