Dear Joe and Pete,
This holiday passing of your father should not be met with sorrow. Rather, it is symbolic for a man who cherished for his sons and family all that make great men. He has left you with a legacy of love for God, the country he served, the people he cherished, and the attributes that define his sons as loving, generous men. Stand proud, love much, give generously to those less fortunate, embrace loyalty, forgive easily, remain humble.
Know that the fireworks that came from the heavens this weekend announced something glorious that the man you called dad and I called brother was called home by God. He is always with you. Simply look up, pick a star, and quietly speak. He has gifted you with all the resources to find your answers. All those we lost remain alive when kept in our hearts.
I keep you in my prayers. Please contact me as to where he is buried.

joseph and peter, I will miss having your father to talk with even though it was few and far between sending up prayers for you and your families and this stressful time all I can say is God bless you all and keep Lord in your life your dads in a much better place God bless cousin Joe

I will miss Joe so very much. He was such a great friend. I will always remember polish kielbasa and sauerkraut at picnics and family get togethers. He was so generous to me and my family.
