Ingrid M. (Kruse) Makowsky

Ingrid M. (Kruse) Makowsky, 80 of Camden-Wyoming, DE passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

Ingrid was born in Rustringen, Germany on October 10, 1935, daughter of the late Walter Karl Heinrich Kruse and the late Elisabeth Maria (Schwarz) Kruse.   She made the United States her home in 1952, first settling in New Jersey and then moving to Delaware, where she married and raised her family.  Ingrid was employed with Sears until her retirement in 1997.  She was an avid traveler and spent some time touring the United States in an RV.  She amassed an extensive collection of spoons and thimbles from the many destinations she visited.  Ingrid also enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.

Ingrid will be lovingly remembered by her children, Steven A. Makowsky, Brian A. Makowsky and Tracey Makowsky Lisiecki and husband, John.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie Makowsky, Carolann Perry Smith and Haley Lisiecki; her daughter-in-law, Rhonda Makowsky; her brothers, Fred Horst Kruse and Ralph Kruse and wife, Kathy; her former husband, Paul Makowsky; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Kruse.

She was predeceased by her son, Ronald P. Makowsky; and her brother, Walter Kruse.

Friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Friday, May 6 from 1:00-1:30PM, immediately followed by funeral services.  Interment will be held privately.
