Frances Ann (Breslin) DiSabatino

Frances DiSabatino 88, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 22, 2016.

Frances was born in Wilmington, DE on March 8, 1928, the daughter of the late Aloysious I. and Florence (Walsh) Breslin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

Frances spent most of her life in Delaware. She also lived in Colorado for 12 years with her daughter. She loved spending time with her beloved family. She was an avid reader and very knowledgeable of many things. She was a unique individual and a very special lady with a witty sense of humor. Her favorite past time was visiting Delaware Park.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Rucinski and Florence Shepherd; her children, Carlo (Judy), Dennis (Diane), Barbie (Mike), and Peter (Cindy); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Karyn, Carlo Jr., Dennis Jr., Richard, Robert, Peter Jr., Pamela, Jessica and Cindy Lee; 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit 5:00 – 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Thomas of the Apostle Church, 4th St. and N. Bancroft Pkwy, Wilmington, DE 19805. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
