I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Evelyn and my mom, Katherine Canter who was her neighbor were quite the pair. Evelyn was a wonderful friend and emotional support to mom. Even as mom started to decline, she always spoke fondly of her "girlfriend" and would smile whenever Evelyn's name was mentioned. Mom passed in September of Alzheimers. Now they can be together....causing trouble again.

Evelyn was always upbeat! What a wonderful personality she had. We always enjoyed our infrequent but very pleasant visits with her. Sad to say goodbye.
