To Roxanne, Dominick, and Teresa,

I was so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. You may remember me as a tutor for Dominick and Teresa way back when they were in high school. I did not know Rick well, but I do remember him as a dedicated family man and a conscientious parent, wanting to provide his children with the best educational help available as needed. I was glad that I could be of help at that time, and I further hope that he is now resting in peace in the Great Beyond, watching his family from above move on to bigger and greater life achievements. Make him proud!

My deepest condolences for Rick’s passing. He was taken much too young. We never know what others go through in their lives so be kind to one another. We all have our crosses to bear.

Whenever you miss him, just look in your heart and he will be there

RIP Rick

He is Gone
(Anonymous)

You can shed tears that he is gone
Or you can smile because he lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see him,
Or you can be filled with the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live for yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember him and only that he's gone,
Or you can cherish his memory and let him live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty, and turn your back,
Or you can do what he'd want, smile, open your eyes, love, and go on.

What can I say? I lost a dear cousin to an afflicting disease at a very early age. We never know the time or place when God is going to call us. We are but visitors on this earth and need to make each day count. Love one another and overlook each other's faults. None of us are perfect. Rick, our cousin Albert and I were very close growing up. We were the three musketeers! I have many fond memories of our teenage years and later as young married men raising our families. Rick was a driven, hard working family man and his loss will be felt for years to come. RIP Cuz. You are loved.
