David L. Burton

David L. Burton, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015.

David went to Dickinson High School and worked for the Hotel Dupont. He loved spending time with his wife and children, enjoyed working on cars, especially Mustangs and helping others.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald Burton and his brother, Robert Burton.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Michele Yarbough Burton, his sons, Chace and Connor Burton, his mother and step father, Kathleen and Jack Wells of Pike Creek; his brothers, Mark Burton and his wife, Christine of Newark, DE and Jason Burton of FL and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 3 at 7 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek where friends may visit from 5:30-7 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Rd., # 102, Newark, DE 19702.
