Tom Moglionli Hired

Wilmington, Delaware, February 1st, 2018 - Doherty Funeral Homes, Inc. today announced that Tom Moglioni has been named their new Funeral Pre-Planning Consultant. Tom will be leading the firm’s efforts to provide the very best funeral pre-planning services in the area. 

“I believe that I can help folks pre-plan their funeral in a dignified, yet friendly manner. I want to provide our families with the peace of mind knowing that their wishes will be met.” Tom said.

Tom Moglioni is a lifelong Wilmington resident and graduate of St. Thomas the Apostle School and Salesianum. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Elizabethtown College, he taught Science and coached sports teams in the Unionville Chadds Ford School District for five years. 

Tom began his career in pharmaceuticals in 1981 when he started working at the Wilmington Headquarters of Stuart Pharmaceuticals. Over the next 36 years, he held numerous sales and management positions at Stuart, as well as ICI America’s and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. He retired from AstraZeneca in 2017.

He is a past president of the Woodcreek Civic Association, St. John the Beloved Parish Council and St. John the Beloved Home and School Association. Additionally, Tom served a term on the St. Mark’s High School Board of Directors.

He and his wife Mary reside in Woodcreek; they have two married daughters and three beautiful grandchildren.
