William Joseph Rucinski

William Joseph Rucinski, “Joe”, age 59, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. 

He was born in Wilmington, son of the late Edward J. and Julien (Gray) Rucinski. Joe worked as a design supervisor for the Cutting Edge of Delaware Landscape Company, a role he thoroughly enjoyed. He was very knowledgeable with respect to trees, plants, and flowers and imparted this wisdom to his clients, family, and friends. Joe also enjoyed cooking and at one time, held his pilot’s license. 

He is survived by his sister, Judy Simpson (Carlo); brothers, Edward III and Bruce (Cheryl); his nieces, Holly Simpson and Kathleen Henderson (Matt); and his companion, Kamanie “Kamy” Nowbath. 

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Regina Grant.
