William P. McCarron, 85, of Wilmington, Delaware went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Born in Donegal, Ireland on December 8, 1940, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Bonner) McCarron.
Bill came to the United States and made Delaware his home in the early 1960s. He briefly worked in construction until becoming employed as the domestic caretaker with the Bissell Family, a position he held for 40 years. Bill was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish for more than 50 years.
His wife of 34 years, Cecelia J. (Regan) McCarron, passed away on December 7, 2008.
Bill is survived by his brothers, Edward McCarron (Diane) and Patrick McCarron; his nephews, Brendan, Edward, Shane and Adrian McCarron; his niece, Jennifer McCarron.
He was predeceased by his brother, John McCarron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Monday, December 15 at 11:30AM, with a brief visitation at 11:00AM. Entombment will follow the Mass at All Saints Cemetery.
