Thomas R. Logan, age 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
Born in Bainbridge, MD, Tom was the son of the late Robert Elsworth and Genevie (Emery) Logan. He graduated from James H. Grove High School. Tom was a truck driver who worked for several years as a driver for Williams Chemical Co., as well as for the Red Cross.
Tom’s relationship and love for the Lord was first and foremost in his life. He shared the importance of having a personal relationship with the Lord with those he knew.
Tom enjoyed show cars and drag racing. His pride and joy was his 1965 Chevy Nova “Showtime”, which his wife lovingly called a bucket of bolts.
Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ruthann (Fertig) Logan; his daughter, Heather Dee Logan; his three grandsons, Dominic Logan, Patrick Logan and Justus Logan; his one great-granddaughter, Novalee; his sister, Bonnie Moore; his niece, Christine Moore (Tom); and his nephews, Robert Moore (Robin) and Stephen Moore (Gina).
Family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 17 at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808, where a Celebration of Tom’s Life will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
