Teresa M Greegs

Teresa Greegs, 92, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Born on June 9, 1933, in Wilmington, Delaware, Teresa grew up in the Rockford Park area, she married her husband Bill, bought a home and raised her family in Newport, Delaware. She was an avid reader and a devoted fan of Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics. Additionally, she enjoyed watching major league baseball and NFL football. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Gallagher; her husband, William Greegs Sr; her son, William Greegs Jr; and sisters, Frances Brocke and Mary Ann Coffin.

She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Diane Skipski (Richard); granddaughter, Megan Dixon; and many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends. 

Family and friends are invited to honor Teresa's life at a graveside service on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2200 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations my be made in Teresa's memory to St. Ann Catholic Parish, 2013 Gilpin Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806.

Her kindness, love of family, and quiet enjoyment of life will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
