Steven John Brodzinski, age 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Chester, PA, son of Norma (Searfass) and the late Walter Brodzinski. He attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and was a graduate of St. Mark’s High School. Steven went on to enjoy a long and successful career as a sales manager for telecommunications and commercial lighting companies.
Steven was a simple man; he enjoyed food and family. He was an avid football fan, first of the Raiders and most recently of the Eagles; and enjoyed traveling. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Norma, he is survived by his wife, Christine (Horne) Brodzinski; his children, Brandun and Cameron Brodzinski; his step-children, Michael, Jessica, and Tyler York; his siblings, Patricia Brodzinski, Mark Brodzinski (Nancy), and Christine Sowinski (Anthony); as well as several nieces, nephews, and members of his extended family.
In addition to his father, Walter, Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Wilson.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Interment will be held privately with his family at All Saints Cemetery.
