We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Pike Creek
Sally S. DiSabatino of Hockessin, Delaware, passed from this life on Monday, August 8, 2022. She was born in 1934 in McAllen, Texas where she spent much of her childhood with her grandparents. Sally returned to college after her children were grown and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Delaware Technical and Community College with a degree of Associate of Science in Counseling. She enjoyed all of her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her four sons: Dominic (Anne), Mark, Matthew (R.C.) and David (Christine). She was predeceased by a middle sister, Norma Hummel Sarver of Benheim, Texas. She leaves a younger sister, Melba Taylor of Pearland, Texas and a favorite niece, Laura Lloyd.
Sally often expressed gratitude for her wonderful friends and her family, as well as her appreciation for the staff and residents at Cokesbury Village who made her home there a safe and pleasant place to reside.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church, 12 Winder Road, New Castle on Tuesday, August 16 at 11:00AM. A private entombment will follow for immediate family.
