Rudolph Pedrotti

Rudy Pedrotti, age 98, of Newark, Delaware, was taken to glory on Thursday, March 16, 2023, passing peacefully at his home surrounded by his devoted family.

A World War II Naval Officer, a PhD alum from the University of Illinois, a retired research chemist of the DuPont Company, a lifelong humble, dedicated servant of the Lord, and a most beloved father and grandfather, he will be laid to rest with Margi, his loving wife of sixty-five years.

 He is survived by his children, Mark Pedrotti, Karen Cranker, Sharon Dunn, Kristi Halberg, and Terryn Frazer; his ten grandchildren, Jun Cranker, Matthew Dunn, Erik Halberg, Timothy Dunn, Daniel Halberg, Andrew Halberg, Emi Cranker, Christa Frazer, Jocelyn Frazer, and Luke Frazer; his eight nephews and nieces, Daro Pedrotti, Michael Pedrotti, Sandra Pedrotti, Laura Ayala, Catherine Doggett, Leno Pedrotti, Mary Christopher, and John Pedrotti; and numerous grand nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 12:00pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be held in All Saints Cemetery.
