Rita was not only my Mom's cousin but she was also a great friend to my Mom-Nancy Ogorek. Rita was so full of life and energy. I always enjoyed seeing her when she would visit my Mom. I am sorry for your loss.

I remember Rita well from St. Mary's. She was smart, witty and a sharp observer of human behavior. I always enjoyed talking with her. My sympathy to the family. I had not seen her in a long time, so did not know she was at Maris Grove. I hope she enjoyed living there. God bless.

Saddened by the loss of Rita. She was a fun lady to be around. She danced the Irish Jig many times at the 76er piano bar. She came to most of our gatherings after the piano bar closed, like pool parties at the Metz home in Glen Mills, the West Grove PA. I sang a solo at her birthday party at her church many years ago - "Funny How Time Slips Away". I know you have many good memories to sustain you during this sad time. God bless every one of you. Please celebrate her life as she would have wanted! Sincere sympathy, Harry & Shirley Jester

After leaving DuPont Rita and I still corresponded. We met in Washington DC and attended Reagon's inaugural plus walked down the parade route past the viewing stand. Hearing the crowd cheering us made us feel "presidential".
She was so proud of all of her children. She was such a good Christian very Catholic and me a good Baptist.
I have missed talking with her. She felt like an orphan but she was so outgoing and now she is with our Father in Heaven dancing her Irish jigs.
My condolences to the family especially to Michael.

Rita was always welcoming and fun loving. We met through the New Life Group and then re-acquainted ourselves @ Maris Grove through my brother, Joe.
The last time I visited her @ Rose Court she did seem to remember me.
Sorry that I will be unable to join family and friends @ her funeral tomorrow but want you to know she was a joy to visit and know.

I've known Mrs. Brackin and her son Joe since I arrived at St. Mary's School in the 2nd grade. She was always kind to me. I enjoyed her candor, anecdotes from life experiences and sense of humor. She was a genuinely decent person and I respected her a great deal. Thank you Mrs. Brackin. I will never forget you.

Once upon a time, growing up in Jennersville & Kelton was fun & exciting. Rita and Pete always made you feel welcome and insured a good time. They were good to us. I always felt lucky to have had the Brackin family in my life at that time. Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time.
