Raymond Weber, 85, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Born in Wilmington on December 30, 1939, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary (Green) Weber.
Ray was a graduate of Conrad High School and served in the Delaware Air National Guard. He was employed as a pipefitter with Local 74, and later enjoyed his employment with Four Acres Trailer Sales. Ray was a life member of the Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Company, as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. An avid model train collector, he enjoyed NASCAR, camping and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan.
His wife, Marion (Sands) Weber, passed away on January 21, 2019.
Ray is survived by his son, Robert Weber Sr. and wife, Ruth; his grandchildren, Brian Beaver (Crystal), Mary Maguire (Kevin) and Robert Weber Jr. (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Brianna, Makenzie, Hadleigh and Olivia; his brother, Robert Weber and his sister, Mary Bouchard.
In addition to his wife, Ray was predeceased by his brother, Eugene Weber Jr. and his sister, Marie Hogan.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, February 26 from 4:00 – 6:00PM.
Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ray may be made to the Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Company, 3808 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
