Ralph Mario Minchini Jr.

Ralph Mario Minchini Jr., 69, of Wilmington Delaware, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.  Born in Wilmington on November 9, 1955, he was the son of the late Ralph M. Sr. and Rosanna (Ciccarelli) Minchini.

Ralph was a graduate of St. Mark’s High School and was employed as a machinist with National Vulcanized Fiber (NVF).  In his retirement, Ralph worked as a groundskeeper with Deerfield Golf Club.  He enjoyed sports and was a talented athlete during his high school years. He also enjoyed an occasional round of golf.  

Ralph possessed a great wit and was generous with his time, talent and advice (even if you didn’t want it!). His greatest joy was being a proud Pop to his grandson, Dominic.

Ralph is survived by his son, Eric Minchini and wife, Lauren; his beloved grandson, Dominic Minchini; his sisters, Deborah Brady and husband, Robert, and Mary Minchini - Clark; his brothers, Alan Minchini and wife, Jennifer, and Joseph Minchini; his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his life partner, Tina Byrd.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington on Monday, April 14 from 9:00 - 10:15AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, immediately followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery.
