Patricia Jeanne (Woods) Stuiber

Patricia Jeanne (Woods) Stuiber, age 91, of Newark, Delaware passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the Coastal Hospice in Ocean Pines, Maryland with her family by her side.  Pat was born on April 7, 1932 in Arbovale, West Virginia.  She grew up in Elkins, West Virginia and graduated from Elkins High School.  She was a dedicated homemaker for her family.

In her spare time, Pat was an avid bowler, having participated in competitive leagues for more than 50 years.  She always loved her time with her bowling friends, especially the lunches and time spent afterwards.  Pat loved traveling with her husband all over the world, most especially the family trips to the Caribbean and Mexico.  She was also an avid shopper/collector with clothes, jewelry, Beanie Babies, bells and snow globes amongst her favorites.  She will be dearly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Herman George Stuiber; her son, George Douglas Stuiber; her daughter, Susan Diane Satterfield (Ralph).

Pat is survived by her son, Darin Stuiber and his wife, Terri; her grandchildren, Susan Dean, Denise Dubois (Matt), Michael Connelly, Tyler Stuiber (Ally), Brendan Stuiber (Isabella), Angela Viar (Brandon), Corey Sayers (Kim) and Kirstin Cermele (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Kyle, Ryder, Rohan, Myah, Kylie, Jordan, Avery, Leo, Cole and Poppy; her sister, Phyllis Phillips (Albert); her nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Macky & Pam Stansell House (Coastal Hospice) in Ocean Pines, Maryland for the outstanding and heartfelt care they provided to Pat.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Tuesday, August 29 from 10:00 - 11:00AM.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, immediately followed by interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle.
