Patricia M. (Driscoll) Dorwart

Patricia M. (Driscoll) Dorwart, 72, of Lincoln, Delaware peacefully passed away in the comfort of her daughter’s home in Hockessin, Delaware on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.  Born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania on August 8, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Clara (Zebley) Driscoll.

Pat was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and enjoyed the many summers spent on Long Beach Island at the Jersey Shore, where she met the love of her life, Richard.  Pat was a long time resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania and recently moved to Lincoln, Delaware.  An avid beach lover, she also enjoyed reading, traveling, country music, and being in the company of her beloved family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Richard Dorwart; her brother, Bartholomew Driscoll; her sister, Barbara Palo.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Pat is survived by her children, Stephen Dorwart, Michonne Frohnapfel and husband, Rob, Nicole Bankston and husband, David, Danielle Sundermeier and husband, Frank; her 11 grandchildren.   In addition, she is survived by her nephews and nieces, including James Palo and Joe Palo, who were like her sons.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Tuesday, October 26 from 11:30AM-12:00PM, immediately followed by funeral services.  Interment will be held privately.
