Pamela Joan (Hoopes) Leonhard

Pamela Leonhard passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Born in West Chester, Pa in April 1947 Pam was the eldest daughter of Paul E. and Margaret L. Hoopes.  Pam was a graduate of Henderson HS and Goldey Beacom College.  

Pam was a loving and caring person who enjoyed caring for infants and young children.  She worked for Educare Learning Center and Bright Horizons Family Solutions.  She was involved in church activities and enjoyed singing in the church choir.  

Pam is survived by her husband Allen of 54 years, her siblings Sandra Jones and Paul Hoopes Jr, her children Scott Leonhard, Michelle Amadio and Kimberly Leonhard and five grandchildren.  

A visitation will be held at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Road, Wilm. DE, on Saturday February 4, 2023 at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.  

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, (marked HHH for Help, Hope and Healing), or to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
